Harvesting Abundance: Shavuot Shabbat Morning Prayer Service and Teaching

Harvesting Abundance: Shavuot Shabbat Morning Prayer Service and Teaching
with Zvika Krieger, Elizheva Hurvich, and Kohenet Amanda Nube

Saturday, 10:30 am, In-Person only.

Join Spiritual Leader Zvika Krieger, with special guests Elizheva Hurvich and Kohenet Amanda Nube, for a Shavuot prayer service connecting with the spring harvest and the giving of the Torah on Mount Sinai. Commemorate the passing of loved ones with the Yizkor prayer during the service.

As part of the service, we’ll be exploring the mystical significance of the shofar as was sounded at Mount Sinai, and engage in a communal discussion on whether to blow the shofar when Rosh Hashana falls on Shabbat, as it does this year

Service will start promptly at 10:30 am — please arrive 15 minutes early to check in and be seated.

There will be no Kiddush this week.

Harvesting Abundance Altar: Please bring an object for our community altar that represents what you are harvesting in your life, such as plants, flowers, fruits, or significant memorabilia.
