My mother taught me to sew when I was quite young. By the time I was seven years old I was sewing doll clothes, some being quite elaborate. I’ve sewn clothes and costumes over time, and more recently, I’ve become interested in creating silk and landscape art quilts. When I retired from a 30-year career as an educator in 2015 I began focusing my creative energies on spiritually-inspired quilting. It was an honor to quilt the Tree of Life and the Force of Life quilts for Chochmat HaLev. Both were a labor of love.
