Friday Night Shabbat

Join Binya and Sarah Elise for an evening of song, poetry, dancing, and deep love! Friday night is also the start of Tu b’Av, a holiday celebrating love. We will raise up the different ways to love and care for each other, while celebrating the arrival of our beloved, Shabbat haMalka.

Binya Kóatz is a sefardi / ashki / moroccan / argentinean / ukranian / french trans jewish torah-lover, who writes poetry, organizes jewish community and sings and dances with her foremothers.

Sarah Elise (they & she) is a rising Kohenet, spiritual songstress, and holder of spaces. They live with her chosen family and too many plants in Oakland.
