Psychedelics and Healing After October 7th
Wednesday, August 21st, 7pm
The Chochmat HaLev community is thrilled to invite you to a special event featuring Dr. Keren Tsarfaty, co-founder and CEO of MAPS Israel. Keren (sister of Lior Tsarfaty, our musical director) will be sharing about the potential of psychedelics to support the healing of trauma, including lessons from the groundbreaking work of MAPS Israel and their Healing October 7th Project as well as the first-ever Psychedelic Medicine Israel conference held last month.
MAPS Israel, the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies, is conducting a research on the potential of MDMA-assisted group psychotherapy with survivors of brutal attacks by Hamas in southern Israel, as well as collaboration with Palestinians and Arab communities to bring this important work to all victims of trauma and violence.
Suggested Donation: $18-36
