Intergenerational Shabbats – OFF SITE
Love Beyond Romance: Community Curated Intergenerational Shabbats | Feb. 13, the day before Valentines Day! Hosted in Community Members Homes.
We are in the desert, building the Mishkan…the portable sanctuary. Once it is built, there is a commandment to keep an eternal flame burning at the center of the community.
On the night before Valentine’s Day, we’re leaning into this, into love. Not just romantic love, but the love that’s built over time, across ages, stories, and shared meals. This is a Beloved Community Shabbat, an invitation to remember that community itself is a spiritual practice.
This Shabbat is a radical act of intergenerational community building. Don’t miss out because Shabbat won’t be “at Chochmat.” Instead, we ask you to gently lean into the possibility of what community could be for you…and what you could be for community. This is a Divine calling, and we hope you’ll show up to help weave the relational fabric of Chochmat HaLev beyond our wildest dreams.
We’ll be gathering in the cozy homes of Chochmat community members. Brittany and the Community Weaving Committee will thoughtfully match you with a wonderful group of 6–10 people, spanning generations.
