Families: Getting Ready for Rosh Hashanah

Sunday, Sept 18, 10:00 -11:30 am
In-person in the Chochmat HaLev Courtyard

Chochmat HaLev is offering a program for children and families as part of our Elul programming. Join with other families as we prepare for Rosh Hashanah,  “The Birthday of the World”. Through music, singing, dancing, meditation and artmaking, we will explore ways of preparing for the new year. Then, on the 2nd day of Rosh Hashanah, we will gather together again as part of Chochmat HaLev’s program at Urban Adamah. There, we will share our hopes and gifts for the world in the coming year as we celebrate our wondrous planet Earth on the farm.

Ida Kuluk is a retired Early Childhood Jewish Educator and Chochmat HaLev member.

Lisa Strongin, a current member of Chochmat HaLev, is a former lay leader and Director of Education at Congregation B’nai David and classroom instructor for ages 7-14.

Free for members; $18 for non-members and guests; donations welcome
