Energy Practices and Sound Healing
Using Energy Practices and Sound Healing in the Daily Practice of Clearing Missteps and Asking for Forgiveness
Tuesday August 12 & 19, 7-8:30pm
Join us for this 2-part class series facilitated by Rachel Michealsen., exploring the use of Energy Medicine and Sound Healing technologies a tools to support in the prepararation for the High Holy Days.
The 6th blessing of the week-day Amidah is Selichah: “Forgive us, Avinu, our Creator, for we have sinned; pardon us, Malkeinu, our Sovereign, for we have transgressed – for Your natures is to forgive and pardon. Barukha atah Adonai, who is called gracious and is exceedingly forgiving.” This prayer reminds us to acknowledge our missteps and ask for forgiveness on a daily bases. We also find this in the Friday night liturgy and, of course, in the high holidays liturgy, Avinu Malkeinu. Holding the distress of our mistakes holds us back energetically and spiritually.
In this class participants will learn to identify and acknowledge missteps and release them using energy medicine, energy psychology and sound healing techniques. Participants will have the opportunity to learn specific techniques (written instructions will be provided), share with each other (for those who wish) and engage in self-reflection and journaling.
Tickets:
Members: $18/session
Non- Members $25/session
Tickets are sold on a drop-in basis and folks are encouraged to attend both sessions, but welcome to join for just one.
