We are grateful to have arrived at this season of spectacular beauty and promise of renewal! Now is the time when our community renews its sacred covenant to sustain its beloved spiritual home with donations to our Omer Fundraising Campaign, as we journey from Pesach to Shavuot, from liberation to revelation. Additionally, on May 19th we will bestow the Kavod Award upon Jeffrey Kessler in recognition for his wise and gentle leadership that characterize his longtime service to this community. What better way to say thank you to Jeffrey than to ensure that Chochmat HaLev continues to thrive!
Chochmat HaLev is moving forward into an exciting future! It is time to celebrate our first year with our new Spiritual Leader Zvika Krieger, and the gifts of his open heart and innovative leadership. Our physical and virtual doors are open for Kabbalat Shabbat services every 1st and 3rd Friday and Shabbat morning services every 2nd and 4th Saturday – a service every weekend! Attendance has more than doubled and the energy is wonderful, check it out if you haven’t been!
We have a burgeoning family program including a new B’Mitzvah program. We have Family and Community Potlucks before services, childcare during services, and oneg and HeartSpace gatherings after services.
There are so many reasons for you to donate today! Maybe you know that donations are needed to keep the lights on and the doors open. Maybe you are excited about what we’ve been doing and what more could be possible with a solid financial foundation. Maybe you just want to say thank you to this unique community that welcomes you just as you are. Together, we can achieve our $46,000 goal.
We endure as a sacred, heart-centered community through your participation and generosity. Each year, we honor our ancestors’ journey from slavery to freedom by counting the 49 days between Pesach and Shavuot. Won’t you stand up and be counted with your donation to the 2023 Omer Campaign? We can’t do it without you.
