Ava Monheit is a sophomore at The College Preparatory School in Oakland, California. She loves the Arts. An avid musician, Ava sings and plays violin. She has participated in School plays throughout middle school and high school and also is a part of her schools chorus. She enjoys the visual arts too. She has been a CIT at various Art Programs and leads a summer drawing for middle schoolers. Additionally, she loves to hike and be in nature. Since her bat mitzvah with Rabbi Lynn, three years ago, she has continued to be mentored by Rabbi Lynn. Ava is very interested in Social Justice and loves working with children. This is her third year working with Rabbi Lynn and the family program at Chochmat HaLev.
