The festival of Sukkot is a time for relaxation and celebration in the humble Sukkah. During Sukkot we pause to enjoy the harvest of our inner work during the High Holydays, and to reflect on the beauty and transience of our journey through this world. Visit our Sukkah during office hours (Tuesday – Friday from 1:00 – 6:00) or by arrangement with the office.
Sunday, September 23, 2018 – 4:30pm-7:00pm
Welcome our guests with music, story, and dance. Join Rabbi Lynn and Ameena Jandali of Islamic Networks Group for stories about Abraham, Sarah and Hagar from Jewish and Muslim traditions. You’ll learn to write your name in Hebrew and Arabic; and decorate the Sukkah, and share a potluck feast with our Muslim friends. Don’t forget to bring family photos to display on our CHL family tree!
