Originally from the East Coast, Laya moved to the Bay Area in 2015 and immediately felt at home. She has had a varied career, moving through diverse passions from public health to baking, dance, and now supporting Jewish community at Chochmat. Coming from an Orthodox background, she is excited to connect to Judaism through a vibrant renewal lens. Outside of work, you can find her exploring various artistic mediums, running, and playing pool.
