Don Benedictson has been making beautiful music since the 1980’s as a musician, producer, composer and engineer. He began his recording career and company unity gain productions in the early 90’s and since that time has had his work featured in the Top Ten of the New York Times, Boston Globe, and Washington Post as well as winning various industry awards such as the International Independent Music Awards, Juno Awards, Canadian Folk Music Awards, Western Canadian Music Awards, multiple International Film Festival awards and several nominations both nationally and internationally. Always learning, improving, and innovating, don approaches each performance and recording as a unique opportunity to experiment and utilizes the song and artist’s vision to dictate the type of sonic approach he will use.
