What is Spacious Shabbat?
Once a month, come to Chochmat and stay a while. Shabbat is meant to be a break from the weekly grind, but in busy Bay Area life it can feel like yet another thing to schedule. Come experiment with truly relaxing into Shabbat with space to pause, breathe, and reconnect.
Spacious Shabbat is designed around two simple hopes parents share again and again:
- That kids enjoy hanging out with friends at Chochmat
- That parents get soulful time for their own learning, reflection, and connection
We’ll have dedicated time for learning, a spirited family service, a shared meal, and time to relax and play.
