Passover, according to the Kabbalah, is a time of divine grace. It is a time when we are given a “taste” of freedom so that we may get out of our ruts and embody a more expansive state of consciousness. The Passover seder is designed to take us on this journey, It is a journey of remembrance which travels both backward and forward in time. We recall the bitterness of our past exile and oppression and we remember the sweet future that awaits us in the Messianic era, a time when all people will be free.
In this workshop we will study the Passover Haggadah and explore ways to enliven our Seders with creative ritual, storytelling, group participation, and original shtik. Bring your favorite recipes to share!
