The Magic of Music, Meditation, and Middot

Join meditation and mussar teacher, Laura Goldman, and musician, Lior Tsarfaty, for a series of four classes that explore the connection between meditation, music, and personal spiritual transformation.  Together we will focus on cultivating the qualities (middot) of Chesed (Lovingkindness), Rachamim (Compassion), Nedivut (Generosity), and Savlanut (Patience) using Chants and Songs, Somatic Exercises, Teachings, & Meditation

Open to all. No musical or meditation experience is needed.

lauraLaura Goldman teaches meditation and Mussar throughout the Bay Area, as well as   leading contemplative worship at Chochmat HaLev. She is influenced and inspired by multiple faith traditions, and is particularly interested in the areas where they overlap and intersect.

Lior Tsarfaty is a professional musician and a graduate of both the Voice, Sound and Music Healing program of the California Institute of Integral studies and the Vox Mundi School of Voice and Transformation. After he came from Israel to the Bay Area he started gathering prayers and chants and founded the “Prayer Songs Project”, a project that brings together prayers and sacred music from different cultures and countries into a concert of art and community. Lior’s passion is to intertwine music and personal transformations.
