Join us at Chochmat for a special event celebrating the luminous artistry of longtime community member Susan Felix, z”l. This heartfelt gathering features an exhibition and silent auction of Susan’s work, along with community connection and refreshments. Proceeds will be donated to Chochmat in Susan’s memory and honor, fulfilling the wishes of Susan and her daughter, Lisa Felix Smartt.

Berkeley’s longtime “Arts Ambassador,” Susan Felix, z”l, was a nationally recognized Jewish artist, poet, dancer, activist, and free spirit committed to social action, community, and dialogue.
A lover of life until the very end, when Susan left this world in early 2023, she left behind many pieces of her one-of-a-kind ceramic art.
We are finding homes for Susan’s art while raising funds for Chochmat HaLev, her beloved spiritual home, and support for members of the local unhoused community. Celebrate Susan’s life. Acquire some art. “Stay amazed.”
