Yud: ‘The Little Letter That Holds Much’
A Moving Elul Experience

With Bruce Bierman

In this playful movement workshop with music, we will explore the healing tradition of focusing ones attention on specific Hebrew letters. Each Hebrew month is connected with a particular letter and the last month of Elul is associated with the smallest of all the letters—Yud—‘the little letter that holds much’. Through dance ‘midrash’ (improvisational inquiry), we will dig deeper into the secret powers of Yud (and Elul) with our whole body and tap into its momentum from a small pinpoint of potential—into the pure energetic motion forward we need to enter the New Year! All backgrounds and faiths welcomed and no experience needed. Please wear comfortable clothing to ‘move forward’ in.

$5 for Chochmat HaLev members

$15 for general public
