Saying Kaddish is an act of courage and kindness. It gives us a ritual of praise to be offered on behalf of folks who have died, whose lives made a dent in our own souls, who touched us in some way, and whose memory we carry. But what are we actually saying? We will examine the Kaddish word by word, learn its origin story, and wrap our lips around these powerful utterances as a simple act of kindness.
