Sunday, October 8, 2017 – 11:00am-2:00pm
Sukkot is the time of gathering the fruits of our labor. Seasonally, it is the time of reaping the harvest of the fields; spiritually, it is the time of reaping the harvest of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. We have confronted our shortcomings, cleansed ourselves with compassion and forgiveness, and turned towards a new beginning. It is now time to celebrate! In this workshop you will have the opportunity to construct the strong, yet vulnerable sanctuary (sukkah) that is you. Using guided movement meditations as well as Authentic Movement, you will learn to “listen to” and trust your body’s wisdom to guide you towards the openness, joy, and shalom of this season.
Bring a journal and wear comfortable clothing. You may want to bring layers in case you get chilly. Bring water and snacks if you think you’ll want them.
Chochmat Members: $10
