3rd Saturday: 11:00 am – 12 pm.
This service follows the arc of the traditional liturgy in distilled form with alternating periods of chanting and silence, followed by a brief teaching from the week’s Torah portion. In this way, we respect and renew the ancient prayer practice of our spiritual ancestors. Each service is infused with kavanot (intentions) highlighting select prayers so that we may focus on the deeper meanings. Through chant and silence, we intentionally create space to absorb the energy of the Divine. This relatively simple methodology provides an opportunity for each of us to open to something sacred, and experience the blessings of the Divine Presence in a quiet community.
