The pre-eminent theme of the High Holy Days is “Tshuvah”, literally it means to return, restore or reply. In order to make tshuvah, then, we must first assess what has been lost, left behind, or asked. How do we approach this process without getting mired in shame, anger or guilt? How do we find the motivation to pave a path back to our core values, ethics or morals? This class will explore ancient Jewish spiritual concepts and practices for living lives of realistic integrity and awareness. No Hebrew background needed.
