How do we harvest a lifetime of living? Conscious eldering is an ongoing opportunity for inner growth and exploration of our values. We can transform the changes that the years bring to our bodies and minds into openings to ever-deepening meaning, and even delight – and certainly not stagnation. We can look at issues that hold us back from ever-increasing fulfillment in our living.
Join a group of like-minded journeyers to share and expand our experience of growing older within Jewish community and informed by Jewish values. Our goal will be to create a place of safety for personal exploration and growth, and text study.
We will have 4 monthly sessions, each 2.5 hours, to allow time for sharing, hevruta, text study, journaling and food. There will be practices to do at home between sessions.
We can meet during the day or evening. Please contact the office to indicate your desire to join in this profound process. This class is dependent on minimum enrollment and an individual phone interview with Rabbi SaraLeya. Once we know who is will be attending, we will find the best time.
Class Fee: $72 for the series. Members only (or contact office to discuss your unique circumstances).
