Join us to slow down, meditate, and create a collective field of awareness to rediscover the gratitude, joy, and peace that the practice of presence offers us.\nWhatever is true for you – whatever is happening in your life and inner world – we invite you to come as you are. No meditation experience is necessary. Through guided meditation, silence, gentle movement, teachings, journaling and group reflection, we will rest our minds, restore our bodies, and revive the deep wisdom of our hearts together.\nDaniella Salzman ( https://growawake.org/teaching ) and Adam Moskowitz ( https://www.onemindful.com/about ) are grateful to co-lead this retreat, with inspiration from many teachers, wisdom paths and communities\n		\n		Where: Chochmat HaLev, 2215 Prince Street, Berkeley, CA 94705\nWhen: Sunday, January 12, 2025, from 9:30 am – 4:30 pm\nWho: All are welcome. No experience needed.\nCost: $54 scholarship | $72 sustainable | $90 supportive\nPlease plan to fully disconnect from email, texting, and phone calls during our time together. The retreat will include periods of silence and group reflection.\nAdditional Information:Arrive early to settle in and start on time, doors open at 9:00am. There will be cushions, back-jacks and chairs. There is a small courtyard for outdoor breaks. Hot water, tea and vegan/gluten-free snacks will be available in the kitchen.\nPlease bring:\n\nlunch – please do not plan to leave Chochmat HaLev during the day. The venue is a kosher-style facility, so no pork or shellfish or meat mixed with dairy are allowed on the premises. There are 8 steps into the main entrance of the Sanctuary. There is an accessible ramp at a separate entrance on Fulton St. Please let a volunteer or staff know if you need to use this entrance; you can also email us in advance at shalom@chochmat.org\nSeating\nWe have folding chairs (some with padding, some without), pillows, and floor cushions available for you to use as well as benches in our Courtyard.\nCOVID Protocols\nOur new policy effective May 19th, 2023 is as follows:\nChochmat HaLev, in consultation with our medical advisor and based on community survey results, will discontinue masking requirements for attendance at events. Masks, although not required, are recommended. We understand people will need to make their own decisions about exposure and risk based on their own personal preferences, and health status.\nChochmat HaLev will provide passive ventilation (e.g., open windows and doors under the supervision of security-trained personnel) and other equipment as available.\nChochmat HaLev will include specific guidelines for those attending in person events on our website and in announcements regarding events.Chochmat HaLev will provide seating adjacent to a window in an end-of-the-row seat to individuals upon request.\nDO NOT attend an event at CHL:\n\nif you are experiencing any potential symptoms of COVID-19 or other illness\nif you have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 10 days and have not had a negative antigen test on Day 6 or later\nif you have had a known exposure to COVID-19 in the past 3-5 days\nif a household member has tested positive in the last 10 days and has not had a negative test on Day 6 or later\n
