Purim and an Encounter with Self: A Psycho-Spiritual (Round) Trip for Men

PurimWith Ben Ringler, MA, MFT
and Reb Brian Yosef Schachter-Brooks

 Wednesday March 12
7pm – 9:30pm

Do you want to breathe life into your relationship to Judaism?

Do you feel disempowered or baffled as to how to change your circumstances?

Purim is a holiday that commemorates a time when the Jewish people living in Persia survived a plot of extermination. We will explore how such themes as hidden identity, hatred, punishment and survival can shed light on the inner struggles of we face as Jewish men today.

Ben & Brian will guide you on an evening’s adventure to begin to discover aspects of yourself that you may have hidden away; those aspects of you that may hold the key to unlock aliveness and possibility.  Using group discussion, guided meditation, and experiential exercise, we will attempt to move beyond everyday mind chatter and greet the timeless space within.
